On Friday July 2nd 2010 I arrived back from Providence RI where I was attending my Fascial Stretch Therapy Level 2 Certification put together by Ann and Chris Frederick of The Stretch to Win Institute. This was a fantastic course to say the least, I actually told the Fredericks that I received my money’s worth the first day! One whole week of practical, hands on Fascial Stretch Therapy and not only am I more mobile less restricted and thoroughly stretched out I’m more importantly empowered and more confident than ever to take my skills back to Miami and make an IMPACT on people’s health and well-being.
This system is POWERFUL and I honestly believe that anyone can benefit from the knowledge I possess.

A little over 41/2 months ago I was in so much pain due to my horrific back pain and hips to the point that I thought I had a herniated disc. Today I run not only pain free but faster than ever.
In January I PR’d a 5k running a 15:41 and just this past April 14th I PR’d a marathon distance in 2:44. None of that would have been possible without Matt Pack’s stretch therapy sessions and strength workouts.

As a 28-year old endurance athlete who has never sustained an injury until last year, I was so frustrated when my right knee started acting up. I tried to run through the pain on many occasions, but the sharp and intense pain under the kneecap progressively got worse. I would run only half of a mile before my entire right leg felt paralyzed, being unable to bend it and incapable of continuing to run. To most, that doesn’t seem like a big deal…just take up some other sport or like most knee doctors advise you, “stop running!” I wasn’t going to accept that as an answer and was committed to continue my goals. The pain turned out to be patella tendinitis, so I went through the “typical” steps recommended to me: prescription anti-inflammatory gels, then pills, an MRI (knee looked absolutely normal), and weeks of physical therapy, yet I was in the same place I started two months earlier – unable to run and now even more discouraged. My options then boiled down to either injections or surgery – none of which I would consider.
I was so fed up and about to throw in the towel, until a friend told me about stretch therapy, its benefits and what it could possibly do for me. I was a bit skeptical at first given everything that I already tried, but gave it a shot hoping that this unconventional idea could prove to work. Well, turns out that it did!! From day one, I followed the tips and tools that Matt provided me with and immediately felt an improvement. I was able to run continuously for 4 miles after only two sessions with Matt. His stretch therapy, knowledge, tips and experience have been invaluable. Two weeks ago (and only after five sessions with Matt), I was able to run a half marathon again with a knee free of pain… I couldn’t believe it! I cannot thank Matt enough for giving me back the ability to continue to endurance train through one of my favorite means – running!
I found the stretching therapy to be unique and quite helpful in gaining better range of motion and alleviating muscle soreness that I had. I think that everyone can benefit from your stretching therapy techniques, which are different than anything I ever experienced before. I would say to everyone that is considering your stretch therapy to try it and they will quickly be asking for repeat sessions. I thoroughly enjoyed the stretch therapy session. I left feeling invigorated, like all my muscles, ligaments, joints and tendons had taken a breath of fresh air. Soreness was alleviated, tension decreased and knots were unraveled. This is a wonderful treat, not just if you want something ‘fixed,’ but if your goal is for your body to be in optimal condition.
My first stretch with Matt Pack delivered much more than I expected. It was my first stretch by a professional and it was a great feeling. Outside of yawning and pulling my arms over my head in the morning, I was unfamiliar with stretching and I was pleasantly surprised with Matt’s performance. Although, I knew he was skilled, educated in the field, I had no idea one person could not only stretch you and relax you, but also find trouble spots, isolate them and make them feel better. I was intrigued by the procedure and impressed with Matt Pack’s performance. After the stretch, I felt as if I had just received an hour long massage.
I have suffered with chronic low back pain and sciatica from years of hard-court tennis. In the past physical therapy and traditional stretching has helped somewhat, but in the long term, the pain would always recur. Then I learned that Matt Pack gives intense stretching sessions. The hour long session was the most thorough stretch I had ever experienced! Immediately after the session I felt relief. My range of motion improved and he instructed me on specific exercises to alleviate pain in my target areas. I highly recommend Matt’s stretching sessions. Also, the stretching session is tailored to individual need. My issue was low back pain so my session was geared toward my problem. That’s what made the session so effective. Thanks Matt!
Matt Pack is one of the most well rounded trainers I have ever worked with. He is well versed in all aspects of strength, conditioning, nutrition, and body mechanics. In prepping for my fights Matt is my go-to guy. He helps me fix my poor body mechanics with his comprehensive stretching and mobility program. We then are able to proceed to strength and conditioning with excellent results due my body being balanced and injury free.
